The Dartmouth College Women's Ultimate team travelled to Milwaukee, Wisconsin over Memorial Day weekend to defend their 2017 National Championship.

The team swept their pool defeating Tufts (15-4), California-Santa Barbara (15-6), Colorado (15-7) and West Chester (15-6). In the quarterfinals, Dartmouth was matched up against the University of British Columbia. Dartmouth prevailed 15-9.

Moving on to the semi-finals was a highly anticipated re-match against Stanford. Dartmouth had previously defeated Stanford in last year's national tournament in the quarterfinal round and at this season's Northwest Challenge tournament. This game was a true chess match, with Dartmouth once again prevailing 12-8.

The opponent for the finals was one Dartmouth had previously seen during pool play, Colorado. In a game that was televised on ESPNU, Dartmouth defeated Colorado 15-9 to claim the 2018 D1 National Championship.

Caitlyn Lee '19 (24 goals), Claire Trop ‘21 (20 goals) and Jaclyn Verzuh '19 (17 goals) were the top three goal scorers for Dartmouth. Julianna Werffeli '18 (25 assists), Caitlyn Lee '19 (17 assists), Claire Trop '21 (17 assists) and Jaclyn Verzuh '19 (16 assists) were the top three for assists for the team.
