Three members of the Dartmouth Triathlon team competed at the USA Triathlon Age Group National Championships last weekend in Omaha, Nebraska. Katherine Clayton '18, Sonia Rowley '19, and Emma Sklarin '18 raced the Olympic-distance triathlon (1.5K swim, 40K bike, 10K run), and finished 7th, 16th, and 25th, respectively, in the highly competitive women's 20-24 age group. Coach Jeff Reed '76 accompanied them to Omaha and raced the sprint-distance triathlon, finishing with an impressive 7th place in the men's 60-64 age group.

Their outstanding performances earned them spots to compete for Team USA at the 2018 ITU World Triathlon Grand Finale, which will take place next September in Gold Coast, Australia. New to triathlons since coming to Dartmouth, all three women are excited for the future and can't wait to keep training.
