A Change of Pace
Looking for a new challenge this Spring? Thinking about participating in one of the many fun 5K (3 mile) local events once the warmer weather comes around, but not sure how to prepare? Wanted to try running, but don't believe it's possible for you? This 2 hour workshop will get you up and going with a comfortable and easy to follow learn-to-run program. Using Sue Ward's "Cruising" protocol of progressive walk/slow run intervals, we'll put together an individualized training program that begins you slowly and progresses you at your own pace over a 6 week period toward a goal of running 3 miles. We'll also practice simple strength and stretch routines. Join us for "A Change of Pace" and give yourself the confidence and resources you need to meet your goals with success!
Come dressed to move comfortably. This is an experiential class!!
When: Saturday, March 4, 930-11:30 am (rain or shine)
