The 2017 Intercollegiate team Figure skating season is underway! MIT hosted the opening competition for the east region with a record 30 school entered. 15 skaters represented Dartmouth, earning 66 points and a third place finish behind winner Boston University (84 points) and second place University of Delaware (80 points). Rounding out the top 5 teams that earn valuable qualifying points for Nationals were the University of Connecticut with 38 points and Sacred Heart University with 36. Leading the Dartmouth charge was rookie Zach Milestone '20 with three first place finishes. Also atop the awards stand in their events were Justine Obr '17, Maddy Thornton '17, Regina Yan '19 and John Gilmore '17. Adding to the point total were Christiana Johnson '17, Alex Magnuson '19, Isabelle Blank '19, Anna Staropoli '19, Jenny West '20, Charlotte Kuller '20, Emma Guo '20, and Jessie Anderson '18. The team's next competition is March 4-5 at Liberty University.
